Brown Creek Ranch Part of Chinook Classic Angus Sale ... please click to enlarge images
We had a great time at the Chinook Classic Sale in Taber; the whole family was there and we had a good visit with many people. Thank you to Merlyn & Cindy Howg of Cinderlyn Farms for purchasing our heifer calf. We spent much time preparing our heifer for the sale and by the "Big Day" she was very gentle and used to being bathed and combed.
We brought home a Black Angus bred heifer from Madder Ranches; we're looking forward to her 1st calf in January. I sure hope the weather straightens up! We have been to the Chinook Classic Sale before but this was our first time to consign, it was a really good experience! See you there next year.

 The calf we consigned was a Red heifer, Brown Creek Elite 08P - Lot #25 in the sale. She was born on December 30, 2004 and her birth weight was 90 lbs. Her Sire is Red LPC Emperor 42H and her Dam is Red QAS Elite 40D 160E 34H.
